What is the EpiDoula?? It's an intensive program that teaches you how to support moms who utilize epidural pain relief, and support them in a way that reduces complications and poor outcomes for her and for baby.
​
Let's be honest, you won't be doing birth support work for very long before one of your clients will choose to utilize an epidural. This may or may not be part of their plan from the beginning, but it can happen - even for the most prepared, natural minded family. Unfortunately most doulas are not equipped to handle how birth changes when this intervention is used.

You will feel confident because of this training and you will be ready to truly help create better outcomes. YOU WILL BE THE DIFFERENCE MAKER!!
No other program exists that so thoroughly teaches you how to support laboring bodies influenced by this intervention. This single workshop day will be more valuable to you than any books, courses or any other form of doula education you can get your hands on. You will find that you use these skills even for those clients who go all-natural, because they are based on Optimal Fetal Positioning and understanding the psyche of the laboring patient.

During the doula training weekend, we will participate in many individual and group activities:

The doula training pricing includes: your Membership fee ($49) and your Certification Packet fees ($29 each course) as well as the cost of the Workshops themselves, manuals, extra materials like teaching kits, tools, gifts, samples and lunches each day.
