It is better for your clients - You will have the ability to provide well-rounded care for each family, from pregnancy, through birth, postpartum and breastfeeding.  They can reach you easily.  You have a relationship with them.  They already trust you.  You know their story, and can see the bigger picture.  You won't have to refer them out to other caregivers when you can help them yourself - which they will prefer!!

It is better for your own business - You will have the ability to provide care in more aspects for each family, rather than lose that income to a referral.  You will be speaking to your target market already, and can sell more inclusive packages for higher income.  Your initial marketing will stand head and shoulders above others in the industry because you have more to offer, which families choose over someone who does not.  Your extended wisdom will enable you to become the "go to" person for your clients and that will automatically generate more word of mouth advertising among the community you serve.

About the Event

We will be broadcasting our Super Combo Doula Training live for you from the in-person workshop!  We will have students and trainers participating in-person and well as remotely, online, and YOU can be part of this exciting event from the comfort of your home - no matter where you are!  You'll be "in the room" with everyone, learning, laughing and enjoying a fun, educational weekend.

This training will be broadcast live, with interactive, real time chat attended by mentors and trainers available for web and phone interfacing throughout the event. Registration closes the Sunday before the workshop begins.

Participating in this Live, Online Doua training is equal to the In-Person workshop required in the certification program.  Please continue to follow the requirements and guidelines in your Certification Packet to gain credentials.

Here's how it will work:

1) You will receive log in information to access the live, online workshop

  - We recommend that you plan ahead to give yourself a quiet place with minimal interruptions for the entire weekend

  - Try out the log in information before class begins, just in case you need help

2) We will begin broadcasting at 9am EST each day and take breaks throughout, for stretching, snacks, coffee refills, etc

  - During short breaks, we will continue broadcasting and you may continue to interact with your fellow students and trainers

  - During lunch (1230-130pm EST), we will take an hour break from the broadcast and resume afterward

3) You will receive emails beforehand with PDFs of all your manuals, certification packets, and any additional handouts - there will be quite a few!

  - Please help us to create less environmental waste, and use your paperwork digitally whenever possible

4) It will be similar to attending in-person

  - You can ask questions and will get one-on-one answers and mentoring during and after the workshop weekend

  - You will be able to interact with your fellow students during and after the training

  - The hands-on aspect won't be the same, but we are working very hard to make sure the visuals definitely help you understand the material

This is a live, interactive, online doula training!

That means, you get the benefit of learning along with your peers without having to leave home!  If you miss any portion of the training over the weekend, you will still be able to access the recorded event.  However, the interactive aspects will only be available during the live event.  You will still be able to reach out to your peers, mentors and trainers to ask questions and get assistance, it just won't be in the live, online event format.

Remember, this is EASTERN TIME!

This enrollment is nonrefundable, but if you're worried you may miss a portion of the event, don't be!  It will be recorded and sent to you within7 days after the conclusion of the workshop, so you can watch it on your own time, later.

The pricing is all-inclusive. This means it includes your Membership fees, Certification Packet fees, as well as the cost of the Workshops themselves, manual, extra materials like teaching kit, tools, gifts, etc.  This event is nonrefundable.  The only other fees you may encounter are if you need an extension.  You will also have a list of books to work through, purchased by you separtely in whatever form you prefer (e-book, audiobook, or paper).  Otherwise everything you need to get certified is included in this one workshop enrollment time fee.  Enrollment in this workshop gets you into Labor Doula (CLD), Postpartum Doula (CPD) and Lactation Support and Educator (CLSE) certification programs.  There are a number of assignments to complete in order to gain your credentials.  This workshop is one of those assignments.  For the complete list of assignments for our credentialing programs, you can go here:  https://www.maternitywise.com/certification-programs
