We will share about cultural practices, pros and cons and how doulas can incorporate this beneficial practice into the services they offer clients.
Grace Roman - The Bronx Doula is a certified birth doula, placenta encapsulation professional and trainer, certified lactation support counselor and childbirth educator.
Grace has had the privilege of assisting birthing people for over 10 years in both hospital and home birth settings. Grace is known as “The Bronx Doula and Placenta Alchemist” for she is a highly regarded maternal health advocate to not just the Bronx birthing people but to the Tri-State area. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and Masters’s education in Mental Health and Counseling, and is a trained Midwives Assistant and Ordained Officiant.Her tailored online Placenta Encapsulation Course and Birth Doula training cater to professional birth workers who aim to provide excellent placenta encapsulation services and create a profitable career, bridging the gap between private and community-based birth & postpartum support.
