About the event
We will go over the recommendations of major organizations that affect your personal health and business practices.
We will discuss CDC, WHO, NARM, AWHONN, ACOG and more, and their stances on how this will affect birthing families.
We will review best practices and protocols for infectious disease, screening as well as contact precautions.
I will give report on what I've heard to be the case in a number of hospitals around the country as doulas call to tell us what they have encountered already in regard to being allowed to accompany clients during birth, and ways that you can increase your chances of being allowed into the birthing room.
We will go over self-care and also homeopathic support of viral infection care.
Finally, after all of this discussion, you will be emailed a list of resources and an official document showing that you've been through this course - which may assist you in being accepted into the laboring setting.
