Free Community Zoom Discussion

Have you come across one of those birth workers who is just mean? Maybe she is condescending and maybe she wants to be the Queen Bee. Social Media, group chats, community groups. We see them within our village. What can you do? How should you show up? Is there a way to minimize the "toxic"?

About the event

Have you come across one of those birth workers who is just mean?  Maybe she is condescending and maybe she wants to be the Queen Bee.  Social Media, group chats, community groups.  We see them within our village.  What can you do?  How should you show up?  Is there a way to minimize the "toxic"?

Come to this free discussion forum where we can share our stories, identify and define behaviors, discuss solutions, and encourage one another to keep the faith!

Maternity care givers aren't always the nicest people. In fact, there are groups (even entire schools) out there who groom "bullies" in an effort to elevate themselves.

This is so backwards!

Unity is what makes change.

Kindness is what heals.

Sisterhood is what the birthing world needs.

Have you ever had someone disparage you on social media?

Has someone's bad review/ backstabbing ever harmed your business?

Have you ever been witness to the bullying of a pregnant or birthing person?

Please join us for a free discussion where we will talk about the differences between confidence and the alienation that comes with attitudes of superiority. We will also discuss the anchoring personality that leads to trust and a relaxed decision making process, and the ego personality designed to gain compliance quickly.

We will also define what slander/defamation is and when things are getting into the legal realm and what to do, how to protect yourself and your business.

We will also talk about the importance of community, how to speak up when you see someone being bullied on social media or in the birthing suite, and how at MaternityWise we are growing smaller as we grow larger, in an effort to create deeper community that can make change on the local level. :)

This event will NOT be recorded, so feel free to show up as your authentic self and speak without fear.

We will talk about what we want the birth community to be, how to create unity and especially how we can overcome the toxic personalities that try to destroy unity, because without unity, we cannot accomplish our goals!
