Colorado Combo Doula Training

Our amazing and multi-talented trainer, Stephanie Watson-Lewis will be in Denver later in June offering a full-scope doula training with labor, postpartum and lactation. This is a 3 day, efficient, express training that does not spend time going over the basics (attendees should have a basic understanding of the birth process) but rather focuses on real life doula work; very practical aspects and the “can’t be learned from a book” stuff that gets missed. Our passionate focus is always centered on lowering complication rates and poor outcomes, specifically maternal and infant death statistics!

Your trainer is a mother herself, is a birth coach, registered nurse, mother counselor, lactation support and educator, IBCLC, certified doula, yoga instructor and business owner for over 12 years and she has watched the evolution of the birth world during this time, which is really invaluable. She knows what wisdom that doulas really need to possess to be successful.

The schedule follows:

Friday, 8am-6pm: Labor Doula focus

Saturday, 8am-6pm: Postpartum Doula focus

Sunday, 8am-6pm: Lactation Support and Educator focus

The workshop flows very naturally and has a lot of personal growth activities that help us identify things within ourselves, to heal and evolve - which in turn allows us to serve our families better. Each day includes a light breakfast, healthy, vegetarian and allergen friendly option lunches, snacks and tea/coffee. We typically work through lunch each day.

The manuals (3), certification packets (3) are given as well as gifts, kits, tools and wonderful samples and swag!
