Our Schedule for the day:

  • 8:45am: Morning Snacks offered during sign in
  • 9am: the Role of the PP Doula
  • Birth trauma - Psychological healing and sick baby support
  • Mother Care
  • Cesarean care
  • Postpartum Complications like depression, uterine prolapse, hemorrhage, infection
  • Breastfeeding
  • Noon: Break for Lunch - We provide lunch at no additional cost
  • 1pm: Continue with:
  • Nutrition and Rest Needs of Mom - Our job is to Protect and Provide for these needs
  • Baby Needs - colic, reflux, jaundice, circ care, SIDS, their fragile senses
  • Massage
  • Immunizations
  • Attachment and Bonding
  • Sibling care and adjustment
  • Multiples
  • Germs, hand washing, baby and mother's puerperal care
  • 3pm: Break for snacks, coffee, networking
  • 3:30pm: Finish up with:
  • Doula ethics
  • Family interactions
  • The business of being a doula
  • Difficult scenarios and legal implications
  • 7pm Goodbyes
